· Creating a consistent approach to ensuring happy playtimes are part of a continuous provision across the whole school

· Understanding the importance and purpose of playtimes for both children and adults

· Sharing thoughts, discussing key points and playing (having a go at some playtimes games/missions)!

· Planning next steps

Session Outline for facilitator: – objectives, pre-session preparation; resources required to run the session; a PowerPoint presentation; sheets of Playground Games Ideas (for laminating) and sheets of Playground Mission Cards (which can be laminated).

We have delivered this session very successfully in numerous primary schools within the UK and use the Playground Mission Cards regularly – children love them!
